Practice Management Software and Consulting For Dentists and Dental Offices

After its first 8 years in Florida initially working with lawyers and then in the building construction and engineering industry, DBM turned its attention to dentistry. Working with one of the top gurus of restorative dentistry in the world and his continuing education Center for Advanced Dental Studies, our Founder gained extensive knowledge not only about dentistry itself, but also many principles of effectively managing a dental office for maximum productivity, profitability and work - home life balance.

After a couple of years learning as much about dentistry as it could, DBM moved to Virginia in 1993 to concentrate on dentistry and practice management software systems and consulting. since moving to Virginia, DBM has worked with many dentists throughout the USA, and we want to share our knowledge and experience with others, especially those dentists who have just finished their formal education and are progressing into their first dental practice. They are in the ideal position to start their practices with the best plans for effective and efficient management to achieve a happy and profitable career.

While working with those many dentists since 1993, our Founder eventually realized that the dental software he was representing and selling to our dental clients was not progressing in ways to help the dentists better manage their practices and clinical records, so he looked around at other dental software products searching for something to better serve the dentists he was working with.

Finding nothing that met his requirements any better than the couple of products he had been working with, our founder decided to create his own Dental EMR and Practice Management System. In 1998, he began working on that, which ultimately resulted in the first version of the program he named The Complete Exam. We sold the first copy of The Complete Exam in November 2002, and we still sell and support it today. We had our 3D tooth charting module present and working in that first version in 2002, and it still works today better than it did in our first release more than 20 years ago.
